The National Bank of Serbia announced that its IPS NBS instant payment system set a new daily record on 14 February 2025, processing 453,656 payments with a total value of RSD 5,677,763,327.40. IPS NBS operates 24/7/365 and enables citizens and businesses to make payments from anywhere, including weekends, non-working days and at night, with funds credited to the payee within seconds. The system has been in operation since 22 October 2018 and the central bank noted a high and continuously growing number of payments since launch.

The National Bank of Serbia reported a new daily record for its IPS NBS instant payment system, processing 453,656 payments totaling RSD 5.68 billion on 14 February 2025. The system, operational since October 2018, facilitates 24/7/365 payments with immediate fund transfers.
