The Republic of Serbia Securities Commission announced that its Chairman, Marko Jankovic, participated in the 33rd Kopaonik Business Forum as a panelist on “Institutional and Structural Barriers to the Development of the Financial Market”, with discussion centred on ongoing efforts to fully harmonise Serbia’s regulatory framework with the European Union acquis. Panellists discussed alignment of all laws governing the capital market in Serbia, alongside topics linked to financial market development and modern instruments and trends, including digital assets, tokenisation, corporate bonds and investment funds. The session included representatives from the Ministry of Finance, NLB Komercijalna banka AD Beograd and Generali Osiguranje Srbija, and was moderated by a University of Belgrade law professor.
