The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) announced the 20th anniversary of its International Fellows Program, which provides hands-on experience and training in U.S. state-based insurance regulation to support regulatory collaboration and knowledge exchange with overseas counterparts. The NAIC reported that the program has hosted more than 700 participants, in person and virtually, from over 50 countries. At the 2025 NAIC International Insurance Forum, it also premiered a video featuring former fellows’ reflections on their experiences and lessons learned about state-based regulation.
