The National Bank of Moldova has published a draft Executive Committee decision to amend its fee schedule for payments processed through the instant payments system, updating the commissions charged by the central bank and payment service providers. For P2B payments processed in the instant payments system, the draft adds per-transaction caps alongside existing ad valorem rates, including 0.50% capped at MDL 2.50 per transaction, 0.10% capped at MDL 0.50, 0.01% capped at MDL 0.05, and 0.04% capped at MDL 0.20. For P2G and B2P payments up to MDL 100,000, the draft sets the National Bank of Moldova’s commission at 0.05% per transaction, capped at MDL 0.25 for P2G and MDL 5.00 for B2P, charged to the paying participant. The draft decision states that the amendments would enter into force on publication in the Official Monitor of the Republic of Moldova.
