The Central Bank of Libya said Gov. Naji Issa met Deputy Prime Minister Salem Al-Zadma to discuss how to secure financing for priority development and public service projects across southern Libya. The meeting focused on ensuring the financial resources needed to implement high-priority projects in the region and address development challenges. Discussions covered infrastructure, roads and transport networks, support for the health and education sectors, and the rehabilitation and modernization of educational institutions. Participants also discussed completing the necessary financial procedures to accelerate project delivery. The housing minister called for a clear framework for state-owned commercial banks to help stimulate economic activity and support urban development and housing-sector projects.
