The Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC) delivered a keynote address at the 43rd ASEAN+3 Bond Market Forum (ABMF) meeting and the 32nd Cross-Border Settlement Infrastructure Forum (CSIF) in Kyoto, Japan, presenting recent developments in Cambodia’s capital markets and SERC’s work to support sustainable financial markets, fintech development and the expansion of the Cambodian bond market. In the address, SERC set out its focus on advancing a sustainable and inclusive bond market through the introduction of new products and services, including green bonds, sustainability bonds, infrastructure bonds and digital assets, and through strengthened cooperation within ASEAN+3 to position Cambodia’s bond market as a source of capital supporting financial stability and long-term economic growth.
