The Saudi Arabia Capital Markets Authority has approved Middle East Financial Investment Company’s public offering of the MEFIC Capital Murabaha Fund. The regulator cautioned that an investment decision made without carefully reading and fully reviewing the fund’s terms and conditions may involve high risk, and advised investors to assess the fund’s strategy and risk factors in detail and contact the fund manager if any part is difficult to understand. It also clarified that the approval is not a recommendation to subscribe, but indicates the fund has met the legal requirements under the Capital Market Law and its Implementing Regulations.
