The Ministry of Education and the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission convened a kickoff meeting in Beijing to start jointly building a National Outstanding Financial Talent Training Base, aimed at developing a high-quality, professional pipeline of financial officials and specialists. The initiative is structured around a cooperative training mechanism and an open co-building model, with priorities linked to “15th Five-Year Plan” goals, including delivery of the financial sector’s “five key areas” of work, stronger support for locally tailored development of new quality productive forces, and enhanced financial risk prevention and control. Planned elements include joint curriculum development, integration of financial technology and interdisciplinary resources, talent-sharing arrangements, and exploration of new mechanisms for international cooperation across finance, technology and talent, supported by strengthened coordination, process monitoring, resource保障, and dissemination of replicable practices.
