The Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission has rolled out SEC AInnovation, an artificial intelligence-enabled digital platform intended to assist the public by providing real-time responses to questions on the SEC’s rules, regulations, mandates and processes. The chatbot synthesizes information from SEC-administered laws, including Republic Act No. 11232 (Revised Corporation Code) and Republic Act No. 8799 (Securities Regulation Code), as well as implementing rules and regulations, guidelines, memorandum circulars, advisories and the Commission’s online services. It supports interaction in English, Filipino, Bisaya and other languages via a natural language processing engine, and includes multimodal features such as voice capture and clickable topic links. Access is provided via ainnovation.sec.gov.ph, with the SEC indicating the tool is intended to reduce manual research and the need for physical visits for transaction-related queries.
