The Central Bank of Chile has completed the sixth Household Financial Survey (EFH) in its 2024 edition, following interviews with more than 4,600 households across all regions of the country. The survey’s results and an anonymised microdata set are scheduled to be made publicly available in the fourth quarter of 2025. Fieldwork ran from 22 July 2024 to 5 January 2025. Conducted every three years since 2007, the EFH collects data on household financial behaviour, including saving, investment and debt, to support the central bank’s research and monitoring of household financial stability, as well as external academic and institutional analysis. Participant information will be used exclusively for statistical purposes and handled under the bank’s security, anonymity and confidentiality standards set out in its constitutional organic law.

Central Bank of Chile completes 2024 Household Financial Survey with results due for release in Q4 2025
