Bank Indonesia reported that eight financial institutions signed financing agreements with micro, small and medium-sized enterprise partners through its business-matching program, split evenly between inclusive and sustainable financing. As of July 2026, Bank Indonesia-facilitated matches totaled IDR 285 billion, comprising IDR 150 billion in inclusive financing and IDR 135 billion in sustainable financing, with further realizations expected through the end of 2026. The initiative advances Bank Indonesia’s end-to-end approach to MSME development by combining business capacity building, stronger financial records and market access with direct links to lenders. Supply-side support includes liquidity incentives under the Macroprudential Liquidity Incentive Policy for banks financing MSMEs and the Inclusive Macroprudential Financing Ratio, while QRIS payment digitalization helps small businesses establish transaction records. The Financial Information Recording Application System supported 63,396 MSMEs in the first half of 2026, and the Data Input Application System provides lenders with profiles of financing-ready businesses.
