The Chile Financial Market Commission (CMF) announced leadership changes across several general directorates, with three senior directors stepping down and deputy appointments taking effect from 20 March. Daniel García (General Director of Market Conduct Supervision), Nancy Silva (General Director of Studies) and José Antonio Gaspar (General Legal Director) will leave their posts. Nicolás Álvarez, currently Director of Supervision of Fund Management Companies and Investment Advisors, will assume the Market Conduct Supervision directorate in a deputy capacity; Alfredo Pistelli, currently Director of Risk Analysis, will take over Studies; and Claudia Soriano, currently Director of Legal Supervision, will lead the General Legal Directorate on the same basis. The CMF framed the changes as a leadership renewal to address the priorities and challenges of its new stage.
