The Brazil Securities Commission (CVM) Board approved a commitment term settlement with Sammy Birmarcker, chief executive officer of D1000 Varejo Farma Participações S.A., and Rita Cristiane Ribeiro Carvalho, the company’s investor relations director, ending an administrative sanctions proceeding. Under the agreement, the two executives will pay a total of BRL 660,000 to the CVM. The Federal Attorney’s Office at the CVM found no legal impediment to the settlement, which was negotiated with the Commitment Term Committee and accepted in line with its opinion. Payments are split evenly, with BRL 330,000 due from each executive; the case was opened by the Superintendence of Company Relations to investigate alleged irregularities. The Board meeting on 2 September 2025 also considered a separate commitment term proposal in an administrative proceeding involving Anderson Adeílson de Oliveira.
