The Argentina Securities Commission (CNV) participated in the 19th Capital Markets and Corporate Finance Symposium organised by the Argentine Institute of Finance Executives (IAEF), with remarks from CNV President Roberto E. Silva and Vice President Patricia Boedo on the authority’s current work, forward agenda, action plans and rulemaking. Silva reviewed measures taken and projects being pursued in line with the national government to promote new investment through the capital markets, highlighting that CNV has approved a broad set of regulations aimed at innovation and market development, while prioritising investor protection and simplifying and making processes more flexible across different financial instruments to improve accessibility. Boedo framed competitiveness and efficiency as key for market participants and issuers seeking financing, and indicated CNV’s board and technical teams are open to analysing proposals to improve the structuring and trading of market assets.
