The Slovenia Insurance Supervision Agency has published an announcement for a session at its annual conference on 11 September, where Dr. Enej Kuščer, founder and chief executive of THE NU B.V., will speak on “Insuring Longer Lives – AI, Multi-Omics, and Digital Twins in the Longevity Economy” and the implications for insurance. The session is framed around how advances in drug discovery, diagnostics, multi-omics and artificial intelligence could enable more precise longevity modelling. It highlights “digital twins” as virtual simulations of an individual’s health status that use biomarkers and biological age “clocks” to support risk prediction and personalised interventions, and points to potential insurance use cases including more granular pricing based on biological indicators, greater emphasis on prevention through personalised measures, and partnerships to support longer, healthier lives.
