The Arab Monetary Fund, in cooperation with the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Finance and the International Monetary Fund, organised the 10th Arab Public Finance Forum in Dubai on the eve of the World Governments Summit 2026, focusing on “A Decade of Fiscal Dialogue: Building Macroeconomic Resilience through Strengthening Fiscal Policies and Institutions.” The forum brought together Arab ministers of finance and central bank governors, as well as senior officials and experts from regional and international financial institutions. In remarks at the event, Arab Monetary Fund Director General and Chairman Dr Fahad M. Alturki positioned the forum as a platform to assess the outcomes of a decade of fiscal policy dialogue and to strengthen cooperation among Arab countries amid global financial and economic developments, while also highlighting the Fund’s new strategy and its roles in the financial safety net, policy advice, capacity building and related services.
