The Palestine Capital Market Authority participated in World Investor Week 2026 through school outreach and interactive digital activities focused on financial literacy and fraud awareness. The activities targeted young people, particularly secondary school students, combining investment basics with instruction on recognizing financial and digital risks. The authority visited public and private schools and hosted students at its headquarters. It also developed an interactive digital game to assess individuals’ susceptibility to financial and investment scams and help students recognize warning signs and tactics used by fraudsters. The activities followed the campaign’s three main themes of investor resilience, digital deception and fraud alerts. In remarks on the initiative, Director General Buraq Al Nabulsi emphasized the need to distinguish genuine investment opportunities from misleading offers, verify investment information and its sources, and understand investment risks. The campaign was organized by the International Organization of Securities Commissions in early October 2026.
