The sites named are www.caritassicurazioni.it and caritassicurazioni.it, direzione.nobileassicurazioni.it, servizi.assicurazioneroma.it and partner.vittoriaassicurazionipiacenzamellina.it. Blocking activity by providers operating in Italy is under way, although IVASS said technical factors mean the measures may take several days to take effect. The action brings the total number of illegal sites blocked by IVASS to 380 since November 2023, when it began exercising its website-blocking power. IVASS also warned consumers to be cautious about policy offers made through instant messaging services or text messages, requests for payment via prepaid credit cards, and websites not included in the official lists of insurance intermediaries and insurance companies supervised by IVASS.
