The Angola Capital Markets Commission said it participated in the 15th Consultative Council of the Ministry of Finance in Luanda on 7 and 8 May. In that event context, the Commission was represented by Executive Administrator for Supervision NĂ¡dia Pinto and Regulatory Policy and Standards Office Director Miguel Maienga, who delivered a panel on crowdfunding, covering the advantages and risks of this type of operation, its different models, the parties involved, and relevant regulatory aspects. The Consultative Council is a statutory strategic reflection body of the Ministry of Finance that brings together the Finance Minister, Secretaries of State, senior officials and other staff to examine and issue views on the general principles governing the ministry's activities. The Commission framed its presentation as part of its contribution to the development of new sources of funding for companies and other economic agents.
