The Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority participated in the Zanzibar Day segment of the 2026 Saba Saba International Trade Fair, which the authority said opened discussions on business and investment opportunities for participants and other stakeholders at the exhibition. The event was officially opened by the Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ayoub Mohammed, who emphasized opportunities in business, tourism and the blue economy. The Zanzibar Health Insurance Fund also presented strategic plans to strengthen the fund so that all citizens can benefit from insurance services.
