The Danish Financial Supervisory Authority has appointed Rasmus Junggreen Lassen as head of its ESG and sustainability office, effective 1 January. Lassen joins from the Danish Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs, where he served as head of office responsible for financial economic affairs, and previously worked in the ministry’s growth capital unit on sustainability, insurance, pensions and tax from 2019 to 2023. The ESG and sustainability office oversees supervision of the financial sector’s work on sustainable finance, serves as the authority’s sustainability expertise centre, supervises ESG information to investors and companies’ sustainable investments including under the Disclosure Regulation, and coordinates the authority’s wider sustainability work and international cooperation, including in the EU.
