The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission published its quarterly statistics bulletin for the fourth quarter of 2025, showing that it supervised 312 management companies and undertakings of collective investments and that total assets under management fell 1.97% from the third quarter to EUR 11.2 billion. The supervised population was down from 321 a year earlier and comprised 217 externally managed UCIs, 30 internally managed UCIs and 65 external fund managers. UCIs managed by management companies had net asset value of EUR 10.1 billion. AIFMs accounted for 62.4% of assets under management, with dual-licensed AIFM and UCITS management companies accounting for 17.1%, UCITS management companies 11.2%, sub-threshold AIFMs 8.7% and regulated UCIs managed by foreign fund managers 0.6%. UCITS assets were invested mainly in transferable securities, while AIFs, AIFLNPs and RAIFs were concentrated in private equity and real estate. Cyprus-domiciled UCIs held 72.2% of total assets under management, and 170 of 233 operating UCIs invested partly or entirely in Cyprus, with those domestic investments exceeding EUR 2.9 billion, or 26% of total assets under management. The bulletin also showed sector exposures of EUR 637.8 million in shipping, EUR 478 million in energy, EUR 123.2 million in fintech and EUR 100.7 million in sustainable investments.

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission said fourth quarter 2025 assets under management in Cyprus collective investments totaled EUR 11.2 billion, down 1.97% from the previous quarter, across 312 supervised entities. AIFMs managed most of those assets, while Cyprus-focused investment exceeded EUR 2.9 billion, equal to 26% of total assets under management. UCITS remained concentrated in transferable securities, while alternative funds were weighted toward private equity and real estate.
