The Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania approved the Bank of Albania’s Annual Report 2024 and signed off the allocation of the central bank’s profit for 2024. The Annual Report is described as a legal obligation supporting accountability to the Parliament of Albania and communication with the financial system, media and the public. It covers Albania’s macroeconomic developments, the Bank of Albania’s monetary and foreign currency-related policies, banking system developments and potential financial stability risks, supervisory, licensing and regulatory activity, and work on currency issue, payments, statistics, research, communication and financial education, as well as human resources, internal audit and medium-term objectives. Following its presentation to the Parliament of the Republic of Albania, the Annual Report 2024 will be made available on the Bank of Albania’s website.
