The Danish Financial Supervisory Authority has announced that deputy director Karen Dortea Abelskov will leave the authority at the end of May 2025 after taking up a new position as finance director in the Danish Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs’ department from 1 June 2025. Abelskov has worked at the authority since 2009, including as deputy head of division and head of division in banking supervision, and since 2018 as deputy director with responsibility including capital markets supervision.

The Danish Financial Supervisory Authority announced that Deputy Director Karen Dortea Abelskov will depart at the end of May 2025 to become Finance Director at the Danish Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs. Abelskov has been with the authority since 2009, serving in various roles including Deputy Director overseeing capital markets supervision since 2018.
