The National Bank of Serbia has published a draft law on financial conglomerates for consultation to align Serbia's regulatory framework with European Union Directive 2002/87/EC under accession Chapter 9 on financial services, setting rules for identifying financial conglomerates and for supplementary supervision of authorised credit institutions, investment firms, insurance and reinsurance undertakings, open ended public fund management companies, alternative investment fund management companies and voluntary pension fund management companies within such groups, with comments due by 25 May 2026.
