The Hong Kong Monetary Authority has published the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region’s analytical data on foreign currency reserves and foreign currency liquidity as of the end of May 2026. The release forms part of the monthly Template on International Reserves and Foreign Currency Liquidity prepared in line with the International Monetary Fund’s Special Data Dissemination Standard. The authority said it issues four monthly press releases on Exchange Fund data. Three are used to disseminate monetary data under the IMF standard, while a fourth on the Exchange Fund’s Abridged Balance Sheet and Currency Board Account is published under the Hong Kong Monetary Authority’s transparency policy.

The publication is part of the monthly international reserves and liquidity template issued under the International Monetary Fund’s Special Data Dissemination Standard.
