The Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted the Securities Commission of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s 2024 report on its work and approved the accompanying 2025 work programme and financial plan. The documents were considered and adopted by the House of Representatives and then confirmed by adoption in the House of Peoples. The Commission framed the endorsement by both Houses, passed with a significant majority, as a milestone given the absence of comparable political support for the capital markets regulator for more than a decade. It linked the outcome to actions taken since the current Commission was appointed in 2021 to address negative phenomena in the capital market and rebuild trust among citizens, investors and market participants, and it called for continued cooperation among stakeholders to improve the securities-market legal framework.
