At the 2025 IMF and World Bank Spring Meetings in Washington, National Bank of Georgia Governor Natia Turnava and Georgia’s Minister of Finance Lasha Khutsishvili met with International Monetary Fund Deputy Managing Director Bo Li to review cooperation and the IMF’s support for Georgia. The Georgian delegation outlined recent economic developments and measures aimed at fiscal sustainability and price stability, alongside discussion of global and regional economic challenges. Bo Li reaffirmed the IMF’s commitment to supporting Georgia, including through technical assistance, and indicated readiness to help the National Bank of Georgia advance a range of reforms.
