The Middle East and North Africa Financial Action Task Force opened its 10th Typologies and Capacity Building Workshop in Kuwait, focused on financial fraud and illicit financial flows, recovery of assets derived from financial crime, and the use of technology in terrorist financing. The three-day workshop brings together experts, member-country representatives, observers and international and regional organizations to examine emerging methods and trends, share effective practices and strengthen specialists’ practical capabilities. Kuwait’s National Committee for Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing is hosting the event.
