The Portuguese Insurance Regulator will hold the award ceremony for the fifth edition of the ASF Research Prize on July 1 at 11:00. The prize supports scientific research in insurance and pension funds and is designed to strengthen links between academia and the sectors supervised by ASF. Created in 2021, the initiative recognizes research with relevant impact on the development of Portugal’s insurance and pension fund sectors. The 2026 edition covered research in economics, mathematics and technology applied to those sectors. The ceremony will include remarks from ASF President Gabriel Bernardino and jury chair João Andrade e Silva, followed by short presentations from the winning authors. The event will be held in hybrid format with a live broadcast on ASF’s website.
