The Central Bank of the Philippines (BSP) held its 2025 Outstanding BSP Stakeholders Appreciation Ceremony for the South Luzon Regional Office (SLRO) in Naga City, recognizing nine institutional partners for supporting the BSP’s mandate on price stability, financial stability, and safe and reliable payments. The awardees were recognized for contributions to BSP initiatives on gold buying, financial inclusion and financial education, currency management, and digital payments. The recognized SLRO partners were Land Bank of the Philippines (Lucena Guinto Branch and Cash Operations Unit), Land Bank of the Philippines (Naga Rotunda Branch), CARD Banking Group, the Provincial Government of Quezon, the Provincial Government of Camarines Norte, Quezon Federation and Union of Cooperatives, DWMR Radyo Pilipinas Palawan, Mariners Polytechnic Colleges Foundation, and JMH Microfinance, Inc. The BSP also reiterated SLRO’s broad geographic coverage, spanning Southern Palawan to Catanduanes. The SLRO ceremony followed a head office stakeholder recognition event held on 18 July 2025, and the BSP indicated similar recognition activities will also be held for its offices in North Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
