The Thailand Office of Insurance Commission published an update on its support for the Thai Life Assurance and Financial Advisors Association's education initiative under the 2026 Insurance Volunteer Teachers project. The update centers on the handover of funding to hire a supplementary mathematics teacher, along with educational equipment and teaching materials, for Ban Chan Hom Ta Sek School in Kantharalak district, Sisaket province. The school is the project's second target site in 2026. The initiative is intended to strengthen students' mathematics and analytical skills, which the Office of Insurance Commission linked to STEM education and to core capabilities needed for financial planning and saving. In addition to teacher funding, THAIFA provided computers, educational equipment and learning media. The Office of Insurance Commission presented the project as part of a broader effort by the insurance sector to expand educational access for students in more remote areas and to introduce financial knowledge, saving and risk management from a young age.
