Thailand Securities and Exchange Commission has instructed JKN Global Group Public Company Limited to rectify its 2023 financial statements and corresponding figures that contain material misstatements, have the revised statements audited by its auditor, and submit them to the regulator. JKN must also disclose the rectified information publicly through the Stock Exchange of Thailand’s Electronic Listed Company Information Transmission System (SETLink) by 11 July 2025. The direction follows the SEC’s earlier criminal complaint to the Department of Special Investigation against JKN and the company’s former directors for alleged collusion to make false entries or keep incomplete, incorrect or inaccurate accounts in the 2023 financial statements and accounting documents for the first quarter of 2024, and for submitting or disclosing false 2023 financial statements and annual registration statements (Form 56-1 One Report) containing false financial statement information. The SEC specified that the restatement should address transactions linked to the case, including creditors, debtors, and sales and purchases of content, and required related disclosure under Section 56 of the Securities and Exchange Act B.E. 2535 (1992).
