Argentina Securities Commission (CNV) announced the successful first placement of a financial trust under the new medium-impact automatic authorisation regime for financial trusts, following notification by the financial trustee via the AIF platform. General Resolution No. 1051 created two automatic public offering regimes for financial trusts, Low Impact and Medium Impact, with issuance caps of up to UVAs 1,000,000 and up to UVAs 7,000,000 respectively. Within these thresholds, certain requirements of the general regime are waived, enabling a more streamlined process. Under the automatic public offering mechanism, an issuer can publicly offer securities without prior or subsequent CNV review of the documentation, provided the regulatory conditions are met, without prejudice to the CNV’s supervisory powers.
