The Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC) attended the 50th International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) Annual Meeting in Doha, Qatar, held 12–14 May 2025, which brought together around 400 IOSCO members. SERC participated in the Asia-Pacific Regional Committee and Growth and Emerging Markets Committee meetings, and joined regulatory workshops on developing roadmaps for adoption and other use of ISSB sustainability disclosure standards, implementing crypto-asset frameworks, and navigating vulnerabilities in private finance in a changing financial environment. The programme also included an IOSCO-OECD roundtable, sessions on empowering and protecting retail investors, and a Presidents Committee meeting. IOSCO also held a handover ceremony confirming Egypt as host of the 51st IOSCO Annual Meeting in 2026 in El Sheikh City.
