The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo reported that a delegation led by Deputy Governor Dardan Fusha attended the Central Banks and Sovereign Funds Forum, held as part of the Global Fund and Financing Summit in Luxembourg, and used the visit to hold bilateral meetings aimed at strengthening reserve management arrangements and exploring pathways for PayPal services in Kosovo. Discussions with Clearstream Banking SA focused on establishing a relationship through opening accounts to facilitate the central bank’s reserve management operations, including the handling of financial instruments and collateral. Separately, talks with PayPal’s International Government Relations lead, Claire Alexandre, explored cooperation that could enable PayPal services for Kosovo’s citizens and businesses, with both sides agreeing to continue work on a potential partnership to support access to international payments.
