The Angola Capital Markets Commission participated in the CISNA bi-annual Governance Council and Subcommittee Meetings in Ebene, Mauritius, joining the network’s main strategic decision forum and contributing to priority-setting for the next biennial cycle. The meetings reviewed progress since the previous session, approved subcommittee reports, and validated work plans and the budget. Represented by Executive Administrator for Regulation and Legal Services Dr Herlânder Diogo, the Commission took part in discussions on strengthening cooperation among supervisors, harmonising regulatory practices, institutional development, technical capacity building and information sharing, alongside emerging challenges with potential impact on regional financial markets. CISNA’s internal governance and coordination instruments were also reviewed, with parallel technical sessions held by the subcommittees on issues within their respective mandates.
