The Bank of France has launched the 2025 edition of its “Young Researchers in Green Finance” prize, offering EUR 3,000 of funding to one or more early-career researchers working on green finance. Applications must be submitted by 10 October 2025. Eligibility covers researchers conducting green finance projects who either hold a PhD and are under 40, or are enrolled in a PhD programme and have not yet defended their thesis (provided a defence date is set). Applicants must be affiliated with a French university and/or academic institution, with affiliation interpreted broadly. Applications are made via an online form and must include, in English and PDF format, a CV, a selection of published or under-review articles, and a motivation letter. Laureates are expected to be informed around mid-November, with the prize awarded at an academic conference hosted by the Bank of France in the first half of December 2025.
