The Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka has invited applications for two director-level roles, Director Human Resources and Director Supervision, to strengthen its core internal and supervisory functions. The Director Human Resources role covers organisational change management, HR strategy, talent management, employee engagement and culture, performance management, leadership development, and oversight of compensation and benefits. The Director Supervision role covers licensing and renewals of regulated entities, ongoing compliance oversight, and risk-based on-site and off-site supervision of market institutions and intermediaries, alongside developing policy guidelines and proactive risk management frameworks. Both posts require at least 10 years’ relevant managerial or senior managerial experience, with specific academic and professional qualification pathways outlined for each role; the general age range is 35 to 55, with the upper limit waived for internal applicants and those from government sector institutions. Applications are due by 20 April 2026, with a two-stage selection process comprising a preliminary interview followed by a final interview for shortlisted candidates.
