Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK) has launched an integrated Governance, Risk, and Compliance Information System (SI-GRC) to reinforce organisational governance and support its regulatory and supervisory tasks across the financial services sector. Introduced at the hybrid Risk and Quality Officer Forum 2025 in Jakarta, the initiative is positioned as part of broader reinforcement of internal audit, risk management, quality control and integrity enforcement. SI-GRC consolidates previously separate risk management and internal control information systems into a single platform, including interactive dashboards providing real-time risk reporting covering incident and mitigation statistics, IRU, and monitoring of follow-up actions for CACM. OJK also highlighted the need for stronger first-line risk awareness and strategic engagement from heads of work units and Risk and Quality Officers, alongside closer attention to cyber risk management supported by ongoing investment in infrastructure and human resources. Development of SI-GRC began prior to 2019 as data needs increased for faster, more accurate and efficient information across OJK.
