Payments Canada has appointed Deana Djurdjevic as Chief of Staff, effective May 25, 2026. In the role, she will serve as a strategic adviser to the President and CEO and the executive leadership team, with a focus on translating complex initiatives into clear, actionable outcomes in support of the organisation’s long-term agenda. Djurdjevic brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in the financial services and regulatory sectors. She most recently served as Chief Operations Officer and Chief Administrative Officer at the Ontario Securities Commission, where she led the development and operationalisation of the regulator’s strategy and delivered digital transformation initiatives. Her previous senior roles also include positions at TMX Group and the Financial Services Regulatory Authority.
