The National Bank of Georgia announced that Tbilisi will host the Tbilisi Financial Summit on 27 and 28 October, with this year’s theme focused on creating regional economic corridors at the intersection of policy, finance and technology. The event is being organized jointly with the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and Singapore’s Global Finance & Technology Network, and is expected to bring together central bank governors, fintech and financial sector participants, international companies and technology representatives. The two-day programme will include thematic sessions, panel discussions, workshops and professional meetings on cross-border economic and financial corridors, financial technology, open banking, artificial intelligence and Georgia’s role as a regional platform for financial innovation. A hackathon is also planned as part of the summit. The announcement notes that Georgia became part of the Global Finance & Technology Network in 2025.
