The National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan organised a “Financial Literacy” festival in Norak on 30 April 2025, together with representatives of credit, financial and insurance institutions, to promote financial literacy and increase public access to financial and insurance services. The festival was opened by Deputy Chairman Gulbahor Naziri and Norak City Chairman Ibrahim Mirzozoda. Specialists from the central bank, the Securities and Special Registration Agency of Tajikistan’s Ministry of Finance, and participating financial and insurance organisations delivered sessions on topics including financial inclusion in Tajikistan, development and regulation of the securities market, the role of cash in the modern economy, prevention of financial fraud, the benefits of digitising payments, and Tajikistan’s insurance system; a cultural programme formed part of the event.
