The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) Board has issued rulemaking instruments amending the DFSA Rulebook following the close of consultation on the proposed legislative changes set out in Consultation Paper No. 169. The amendments cover the Anti-Money Laundering, Counter-Terrorist Financing and Sanctions Module and the Fees Module, which come into force on 1 April 2026, and the Prudential – Investment, Insurance Intermediation and Banking Business Module, which comes into force on 1 July 2026. The DFSA noted that changes may have been made to the proposals originally consulted on, and that the updated modules will replace the current versions on the DFSA website on their respective commencement dates, with earlier versions remaining available in the archive.
