The Brazil Securities Commission (CVM) has updated its Open Data Portal with new and revised datasets for investment funds to reflect the market’s transition to CVM Resolution 175, including the use of share class and subclass structures. The update also expands available data for listed companies by adding share capital composition information within key disclosure form datasets. For investment funds, the Portal now provides new registration data files covering investment funds, share classes and share subclasses, and has updated multiple document datasets including daily reports, essential information sheets, trial balances, extracts of information, monthly profiles, and portfolio composition and diversification disclosures. It also updates structured fund reporting datasets, including monthly reports for FIDCs, structured monthly, quarterly and annual reports for FIIs and FII financial statements; adds trial balances for index funds (FIIMs) under the structured funds trial balance dataset; and introduces a new dataset for private equity funds (FIPs) covering the four-monthly report, replacing the former quarterly FIP report. Within the listed companies area, the Portal has added a “Company Data / Share Capital Composition” section to the datasets for the Standardized Financial Statements Form (DFP) and the Quarterly Information Form (ITR). CVM notes that changes to the Open Data Portal are communicated via the Portal’s “News” page.
