The Central Bank of Ireland has appointed Simon Sloan as Director of Strategy and Governance, replacing Glenn Calverley following his appointment as Director of Finance and Business Performance. Sloan joined the Central Bank in 2011 and most recently served as Counsellor to the Governor and Chief of Staff, after holding leadership roles in asset management, consumer protection, and banking and payments. He will take up the role as the Central Bank establishes its priorities and organizational strategy for its next strategic cycle.
