Most payments between the countries are made in national currencies, while Russian tourists can use Russian payment systems in Vietnam, including rapid payment platforms. Bilateral trade exceeded USD 6 billion in 2025 and grew about 14% in the first half of 2026, supporting the countries’ target of USD 15 billion by 2030. Travel also increased from more than 450,000 visits in 2025 to over 670,000 in the first half of 2026, supported by more than 15 regular flights between the two countries.
