The Bank of the Lao PDR reported that the Banking Golf Club held a tournament to mark the central bank’s 58th anniversary. More than 100 participants attended, including Deputy Governors Aloun Bounnyong and Khanthakeo Lamaningao, former banking sector officials, central bank representatives and commercial bank representatives. The event was intended to promote health, strengthen ties and facilitate exchanges across the banking sector. Awards were presented across two competition categories, alongside prizes for longest and closest shots.
