The IFRS Foundation has released new self-paced e-learning modules on the IFRS Sustainability Knowledge Hub to help companies build foundational understanding of the International Sustainability Standards Board’s IFRS S1 General Requirements for Disclosure of Sustainability-related Financial Information and IFRS S2 Climate-related Disclosures. The four modules cover an introduction to the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, IFRS S1, IFRS S2, and integrated sustainability disclosures and organisational considerations. Each module combines written and visual content with interactive knowledge checks, and users can take a short multiple-choice assessment at the end to receive a certificate of completion. Access is free with an IFRS.org account, and eligible members of professional accounting bodies can earn CPD or CPE credits; the Foundation also signposted further learning options, including the two-part FSA Credential exam.
