The Bank of Zambia announced that the Registrar of Financial Service Providers has cancelled the bureau de change licence of Favour Bureau de Change Limited due to non-compliance with the Banking and Financial Services Act, 2017 and the Banking and Financial Services (Bureau de Change) Regulations, 2003. The cancellation means Favour Bureau de Change Limited has ceased operating as a bureau de change with effect from December 12, 2025. The Bank of Zambia noted that the cancellation does not relieve the firm of obligations incurred or assumed during the period the licence was valid.
